Eating the Dirty Roots of Suffering

By removing a single living being from our scope of concern out of fear or hatred, we have abandoned both them and the awakened Mahayana by eating the dirty roots of suffering.
This does not mean to condone bad behavior of others or refuse to correct others out of misguided compassion. Holding others dear is an internal attitude, which sees beyond appearances. This is dharma! ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~

The mechanics of correct logic include an ability to disassemble a reasoning process, examine the details and put the argument together again. However, this time it should be in a more cohesive form, which makes more sense than its earlier non-organized form filled with illogical incongruities. ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~

France is a fantasy to those who do not live there or have direct knowledge of that country. French people try to explain how things are there, the attitudes and will even describe how to get to France, (if they have traveled and returned).
Similar to that, the enlightened state might seem to be a fantasy to those who have never been there but only listened to explanations. However, when you have the determination to experience it for yourself, you will do everything you can to make the great adventure happen! ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~
