Tantric Healing, Resonating with Enlightened Being

Image
The tantras are an intense remedy for energetic distortions of, shall we say, cosmic principles. In our world, perhaps there is no other ancient system still alive and viable that has the intensity of the techniques of the tantras, which pr edate Buddhism. I believe that the transmissions of the tantras to the West are perhaps even more significant than Buddhism arriving to the West. Let me explain. Because of the intensity of the various levels and types of tantras, it is extremely important that a student gain skills to recognize what is going on with his or her body and mind. It is equally important to be in harmony with the specific principles of training unmixed with other ideas; whereas, basic Buddhist principles are more generalized. In Buddhist meditation and behavioral change practices, if the meditator does not hit the mark, at least she or he has done something toward the goal! Tantric practice, however, works with the life force winds that can become ...

This World Can Be Confusing to Spiritual People!

Image
The world is over stimulating, confusing and often challenging to spiritual people. Our real values might become turned upside down, and we might have learned many things we need to unlearn. In addition, we will need to remember something that we never knew. Dedicated and committed people enter into training programs in order to unlearn together. - Domo Geshe Rinpoche ---

How do we use our values?

Image
How do we use our values? An instantaneous comparison happens between incoming influences, (even influences arising from our own minds), which are then energetically compared to our own personally held values. What is part of our nature are the values, so we pray that our nature is such a good one that we can rely upon ... them to resolve ordinary ethical issues instantly. When poor influences or dusty old habits come to entice us, we should be able to instantly take the correct course of action, unless we hold conflicting values. While our nature is changing, due to inner work, it might feel more mechanical for a while, but eventually our nature changes.

Cultivated attitudes

Image
The cultivated activity of spirituality is bonding higher values of love, openness, and kindness to where our identity is located, the mind, rather than the body/mind. DGR There is a level of immaturity that feels the body is the basis of identity. Excessive sensuality, gratifications etc. When the person begins to mature, they see that they are the body, but more and feel the body and mind are both in identity. When one does not identify the body as so very important may see themselves as intellect and live more in the world of ideas. This is where this statement is addressing the person so they can benefit from guiding themselves toward cultivated values. The teachings of the dharma are vast and not only for the brave and disciplined. The teachings of kindness alert us to the values and standards of kindness, the very thing the diatribe of disappointment in humans rails against! This quality can be cultivated and brought to fruition by integrating it into our very nature! "Spiri...

What are your Supporting Beliefs?

Image
"I believe that this world is a good place to live, grow and learn. In this, my new life, I have traveled to many places in the world, both to learn more about the world and teach Buddhism where I am invited. I have trust in the Buddha, the dharma and the Sangha, seeing that it is not only valid in all places and in all times but also transcends culture. Even in my dreams, I have reliance in the triple gem, waking in the morning with a loving full heart. The answer to every important question is bodhicitta, the great compassionate mind that holds others dear. This is true even though phenomena, including living beings, are empty of inherent existence, impermanent and dreamlike in illusory appearance in comparison to reality. What are your beliefs and values that support your practice?" ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche~~~ ""Es ist meine Überzeugung, dass diese Welt ein guter Ort ist um zu leben, zu wachsen und zu lernen. In diesem meinem neuen Leben bin ich an viele Orte d...
