Can You Become a Deity?

Regarding the three bodies of a buddha: dharmakaya, sambogakaya and nirmanakaya. A meditator cannot assume an actual sambogakaya deity bliss body without already being a nirmanakaya (supreme human emanation). The meditator can only do this in a visualized manner as part of a tantric meditation practice. Emanation does not happen from human to deity level being, (from gross to subtle), only from subtle to gross. Sambogakaya bodies are the description of emanations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas moving toward their working position of nirmanakaya. Of course, many (if not most) higher-level beings do not manifest in human form but remain in a working position of a sambogakaya being.
Learners, such as advanced meditators or bodhisattvas on the path of clarification have another process, attached to a sambogakaya form deity for continued learning. A nirmanakaya, supreme emanation body cannot be constructed from an ordinary human being; one moment an ordinary human being, and the next moment a nirmanakaya being because of a major breakthrough. The nirmanakaya human being is only alive in dependence upon the emanation process that begins from absolute perfection, arriving at the dharmakaya level of being (an outer Buddha form). On through the denser state of sambogakaya form to a human body, the great being assumes a nirmanakaya form to benefit living beings. ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~

Dies betrifft die drei Körper des Buddhas: Dharmakaya, Sambogakaya und Nirmanakaya. Ein Übender kann keinen wirklichen Sambogakayakörper einer glückseligen Gottheit annehmen, ohne nicht schon ein Nirmanakaya zu sein (eine höchste menschliche Emanation). Der Übende kann das nur in Form einer Visualisation als Teil einer tantrischen Meditationspraxis tun. Emanation findet nicht von der menschlichen auf die göttliche Daseinsebene statt (vom Groben zum Feinstofflichen), sondern nur vom Feinstofflichen zum Groben.
Sambogakayakörper sind die Beschreibung der Emanationen von Buddhas und Bodhisattvas, die sich zu ihrer Arbeitsposition im Nirmanakaya hinbewegen. Natürlich manifestieren sich viele (wenn nicht sogar die meisten) Wesen der höheren Ebenen nicht in menschlicher Form, sondern verbleiben in ihrer Arbeitsposition eines
Sambogakayawesens.
Lernende, wie fortgeschrittene Übende oder Bodhisattvas auf dem Pfad der Verdeutlichung, sind in einem anderen Prozess, wobei sie, um fortlaufend zu lernen, an eine Gottheit in der Sambogakayaform angeschlossen sind. Ein höchster Emanationskörper des Nirmanakaya kann nicht aus einem gewöhnlichen menschlichen Wesen entstehen; zunächst ein gewöhnliches menschliches Wesen und aufgrund eines plötzlichen Durchbruchs im nächsten Moment ein Nirmanakayawesen. Das menschliche Wesen als Nirmanakaya lebt ausschließlich in Abhängigkeit vom Emanationsprozess, der in der absoluten Vollkommenheit beginnt und auf der Daseinsebene des Dharmakaya (einer äußeren Form als Buddha) ankommt. Indem es sich durch den dichteren Zustand des Sambogakaya in einen menschlichen Körper begibt, nimmt das Große Wesen eine Nirmanakayaform an, um allen Lebewesen zu helfen." Domo Geshe Rinpoche ---
