Biography of Domo Geshe Rinpoche (Ger, Eng) and Recent Articles
Domo Geshe Rinpoche is a reincarnate Lama of the Geluk tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. The Domo Geshe Rinpoche lineage includes Je Pabongka Rinpoche, Kyabje Trijang Rinpoche and the great Geshe Jampa Chombe. As a reincarnate, Domo Geshe Rinpoche has accomplished extensive training and retreats in the traditional manner. Rinpoche's current incarnation has been teaching in the United States for a number of years, held numerous retreats and given other spiritual training from the Geluk and tantric lineage.
The current Western incarnation of Domo Geshe Rinpoche arrived through rare and powerful tantric methods in order to transmit the authentic Dharma to students in the Western cultural context. This incarnation of Domo Geshe Rinpoche is considered unusual in that she has arisen in the form of an adult, a Westerner, and female.
Rinpoche is founder and spiritual director of White Conch Monastery and Dharma Center with branches in Wisconsin, Illinois, New Mexico, California,(USA) , Berlin, Ulmbach, Wuppertal, Oldenburg (Germany). Founder of Grand Transitions Hospice and Institute, Author of Mystery of Emptiness & Love and Red Lotus Buddhist Wisdom (avil Amazon and local bookstores). Rinpoche travels much of the year, teaching and leading retreats. When not on tour, she is at her Hermitage in Central Wisconsin where retreats are also given.
Much of the information regarding the previous incarnations of Domo Geshe Rinpoche was lost in the invasion of Tibet in 1959. Efforts have been made by many individuals to piece together information from various sources in order to preserve the history of the previous incarnations. Much of it was compiled by Dr Ursula Bernis from about 1988-1994.
The effort to preserve the history of the Domo Geshe Rinpoche incarnations continues with the archiving of photographs and events. Many miracles and wonders associated with the Domo Geshe Rinpoche lineage have occurred since arising in this incarnation.

We are powerfully influenced by our inner and outer world to seek spiritual experiences because we want to feel good. So, what keeps us from being the spiritual being we envision? Basically, it is the same way we go about achieving our ordinary potential and success.
Planning for a successful life is only worldly without the important spiritual component for success. Unfortunately, many people are raised with a more money and possession orientation than spirituality at its core, even though they might have a natural spirituality that could be developed.
Does a Buddha have a personality? Is it different than other Buddhas or are they all the same? We need to have a relationship with God or Buddha or deity.
It is not necessary to study everything in Buddhism to become enlightened. It is actually only necessary to study what you need to know to make your very next breakthrough.
We need to spring back to a stable identity, with a stable inner referent that makes us feel comfortable and safe. Can you hardly wait to have time by yourself to get to know yourself again?
There are quantum shifts in awareness, (the alert state of our life force process) that we already possess.
Like the farmer with a valuable crop, meditators must guard their minds, the repository of their attainments, which are the results of their preparation toward awaking the mind.
The powerful, creative energy of the muse of poetry, painting, and other arts is thought by others to be a mythical personification of the spirit of creativity in beautiful and seductive female form, but not to the experiencer. Many artists entice and worship the muse who holds the key to their success. There definitely are signs that this is equal to the female creative energy of higher tantric practices called dakini.
If you cannot love yourself, how are you going to find someone who loves you? This is outstanding in theory; however, your own self esteem and ability to love yourself becomes the exclusive basis of loving others.
The reason why problems arrive is that we have karma from previous unhappy actions ripening, whether that is from this life or from some previous life. However, if we approach it right this time, it is possible to exhaust that particular kind of karma so that it never torments us again with the tool of deep patience!
