Hawaiian Holy Place

Image
A sacred and secret Hawaiian holy place.  At the road near the hidden entrance to the secret holy place I checked before stepping inside the jungle. I said in inner-speak, “May we come to your holy place?” The Hawaiian sacred inner beings replied, “No, not right now,” because they were doing preparations for important ceremonies which were happening in a few days. Of course, our guide was not  aware of that. The inner beings continued, “We are sorry; we don’t have time to meet because of these activities which are coming up.” By the way, our guide later confirmed it, I think by calling someone on the phone. I said, “We have come from very far; are you sure that I can’t at least come part way toward your location?” They replied in inner-speak, “Yes, come.” Once inside, we went to a particular spot; you cannot even call it a clearing, because it’s deep in the jungle. It was where certain ceremonies…and I explained to the guide, (who wasn’t telling me…but verified it,) that ...

Telepathy on a continuous basis is only useful when the mind is pure. First clean up the thinker, then the thinking is careful enough to communicate mind to mind. Those in the human realm are characterized by an incapacity to control their minds but still need a safe place to grow and learn. Eventually, people will be able to control their own minds by becoming clear of the many forms of distortio n that plague human beings. It is not the fault of samsara, folks!

Dwelling on Dharma

Because their society is still is under duress, some Tibetans still hold tightly to a proprietary right to disseminate Tibetan Buddhism. When I arrived in America back in ‘74, (in my just previous life), I also wasn’t ready to hear that Tibetan Buddhism was not the ultimate spirituality and remained somewhat rigid. However, as co-emergent expressions of the eternal religion, we must acknowledge t hat other religions are not inferior to Tibetan Buddhism. In my present attitude, all authentic religions that hold to transcendence as the goal are valid, a view that is certainly held by the present Dalai Lama as he interacts with other spiritual traditions. The wisdom and compassion of the eternal religion, alive and vibrant beyond names and forms, produced unique tantric meditations as remedies for specific problems that are needed in many places beyond the cultural borders of Tibet. It is important for Tibetans out in the world to understand that it’s not the concern of those close mind...

Come out of Hiding....

The contents of the everyday mind: illusory displays and illusory learning experiences are a solidified structure held around the process of preparation waiting for the window of opportunity to begin transformation. New delight in compassi on, faith in higher reality and desire for contemplation grows as the walls of the structure begin to thin. Virtue seems more reasonable and easier than the self-centered view of life.  This emerging specialized mind of wholesomeness and virtue will now function as the main support to hold the now aligned energies so that awareness can go inside properly. You will then experience a new form of virtue that is the real power of purity; only then will mind itself fall away to reveal the awakened awareness that is free from confusion. Everyday mind, wholesome mind and strength of purity mind were the support for important transformations that you needed by using the amazing tool of the expandable mind. ~ Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~ "Der Inhalt des Al...

The Buddhist practice of loving-kindness is helpful to enter the path of Mahayana in easy stages. It opens our hearts to the possibility of a very clean relationship with others. Once substantially purified, the Sutric Mahayana painlessly e mpties it and then the emerging Bodhichitta fills it! - Domo Geshe Rinpoche --- Those with a history of worrying about themselves and how to be successful, wanting to experience compassion is like trying to stretch to touch toes with a bad back. When trying to care about others, without flexibility... we could feel pain ourselves instead of loving kindnes...
