Unstress the Tantric Way

Image
Feeling stressed right now? Would you kindly take a deep breath, take a deep inhalation and whoosh it all out strongly through the mouth and hold the exhale for a short time. Lower your shoulders, drop the stress, just let it fall away from you. Take another deep breath and see if there is a little bit more clear space opened up..... but this time visualize how you would feel without any problem s. That's probably starting to feel a little bit better. It might be good to do later also to train yourself to use an easy and effective remedy. Letting out your breath like this acts as an escape valve; it also releases some of the energetic support which is fastening our problems to us. When we are clenching, that can actually hold the problem in place. What we need to do is decompress and send away that energetic strut. Thinking about the problem will be hard when there is no cushion for it to sit on. This is Tantric yogic breath. ~ Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~ ********* „Fühlst du dich ge...

Middle Way, Ethics, Video, Mahasiddha Dharma and other musings....

Edges always define the center. Radical social and philosophical concepts serve the middle ground of culture by showing where we might choose not to participate. However, the Middle Way of Buddhism is different; rather than finding a safe p osition in the center, it is defined by an active and cultivated rejection of the extremes of nhilism and permanentism. Its logical system is organized to discover what is real is based on what is rejected rather than what is accepted.

The Buddha's Living Inner Lineage

Image
If we think that the Buddha is still alive in this world, then his continued existence is due to his alignments with the inner lineage of his awakening. This comes from Vajradhara, primordial buddha, up to Shakyamuni Buddha. It continued through the various rivers, streams and rivulets of living transmission from which arose important sharing of transformation guidance. The nodes of lineage are not the names of the lineage but the living transmissions from guidance beings. The sub religions of the traditions have the same function as religions, to create the outer structure to preserve the teachings of transformation such as education and providing places to live such as monasteries and nunneries. There is no Mr. Nyingma, Mr. Gelug, or Mr. Rime! From time to time, great inner beings bring together streams of living transmissions with great effort, into a new inner form to heal any errors in the preservation by strengthening and integrating through inner alliances or unions of living tr...

24 Hours a Day Meditation

Lord Buddha Shakyamuni said, “This is how I found the light and awakened mind. If you do it in this way, you also will awaken.” His method of explaining it was compelling, honest and clear. His accomplished followers later organized this process with Lord Buddha as the central jewel. The methods we use in the Tibetan system are sophisticated and inextricably energetically tied to the Buddhist path and unbroken lineages from Buddha Shakyamuni. These are reproducible effects that we have not only learned, but also enthusiastically disseminated to others. To do that correctly means that even today, it will have the same results. Over thousands of years, these inner lines of transmission have been carefully preserved so that when the actual breakthrough comes, the light of dharmakaya (1) wisdom fully permeates our being. Only then will we understand perfectly what the Buddha meant by awakened mind. Because the nature of dharmakaya is comprehensive it includes final preparation for extra...
