Wasting Adrenalin on Sports and Other Junk!

Our personal energy system and how we use it both defines us and brings meaning to our interactions with others and our world. It is easy to see that we could be using our time, energy, money and power of attraction more skillfully to glean more from our limited time. Below is a partial list of major waste:
Sports are a poor use of adrenalin!
Money is a poor use of personal power!
Flirting is a poor use of eye contact! ~Domo Geshe Rinpoche ~~~~

This evening in Joyful Path and by conference line.. "Ethics and Love". I enjoy exploring these interfaces between important cultural values and preparation practices for enlightenment. Our best must enfold into our practice for awakening!

  1. re sports ... i would have to unlist chi kung or taichi as sports..i find them particularly good to focuss or center...or to become aware of body and mind..so here i cannot agree

re personal power... i do not like the word power...doesn't buddhism operate more in the love than the powermode?

  2. re flirting etc...what if it is done whilst being very conscious of the act of flirting?
