Only One Degree off Course

Like a ship setting off from port only 1 degree off course- the destination can never be reached. Like that, harmful strategies we use to get things done might seem okay for a while, but then the ramifications catch up. This is why we check our motivation many times a day to see if our ship is on course to the awakened state. This is when the reproducible effect of Buddhism helps us both as a steadying gyroscope as well as the device that sets the course of our ship. DGR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Two explanations of the same innate view Classic Buddhism describes the innate view as the error of taking what is transitory and impermanent as permanent. All suffering arises from this misknowledge. However, I have expanded this description to understand that the innate view also bestows a full but minimum set of perceptions that are needed to allow the transmigrating consciousness of a to-be-hu man to participate within the human realm.
